Kirkmichael House, a highland manse in Perthshire

Strathardle, Perthshire, Scotland

A handsome highland manse

Bed & breakfast in a 1760s former manse, set above the village of Kirkmichael with views over the glen to the hills beyond.

Reception hall at Kirkmichael House

Our story

Formerly the manse of Kirkmichael Parish Church

While the main part of the house dates from about 1760, it is believed there has been a property on this site for centuries. A pretty front porch opens into a welcoming reception hall, giving access to both the drawing and dining rooms. All the guest bedrooms are on the two floors above, with views over the village to the distant hills.

Outside

Kirkmichael House is approached by a short private driveway leading to gravel parking in front of the house. The garden has a lovely mixture of mature trees, spring bulbs and herbaceous plants. On the west side of the house, a sheltered courtyard is ideal for sitting out in the summer.
